Returns & Cancellation

Buying as a consumer

For most goods ordered online, you can cancel without a reason within 14 days after the day you or your nominated recipient receive them. Where one order arrives in separate consignments, the period normally runs from the last delivery. Email info@agralan.co.uk or write to Agralan Limited at the address below before the deadline. You can use our model cancellation form, but any clear cancellation statement is sufficient. You do not need our permission to exercise this statutory right.

Send goods back within 14 days of notifying us. For a change-of-mind return, you pay the direct return cost. Ask before ordering for the return-carriage cost of any item that cannot normally be returned by post. For faulty or incorrectly supplied goods, we pay reasonable return costs and will agree the return arrangements with you.

Refunds

We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or evidence of return, whichever is earlier. Refunds use the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise, with no refund fee. If you cancel the whole order, we refund the least expensive standard outbound delivery cost offered; any extra paid for an upgraded delivery service is not refundable under the change-of-mind cancellation right. For a partial return, the delivery refund depends on the charge attributable to those goods.

You can inspect goods as you would in a shop. We may deduct for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the goods' nature, characteristics and functioning. Return the accessories and packaging if you can, but original packaging is not a condition of your statutory cancellation right.

Exceptions and safe returns

The cancellation right may not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, rapidly perishable goods, or genuinely hygiene-sensitive sealed goods once unsealed. We will identify a relevant exception before purchase. Opening ordinary product packaging or ordering a standard spare part does not, by itself, remove your right to cancel.

For equipment that has contained chemicals, fuel or other hazardous material, contact us for safe return instructions before dispatch. Do not send dangerous or contaminated goods through ordinary post. This safety arrangement does not remove your statutory rights or extend a cancellation deadline.

Faulty or incorrect goods

Consumers are entitled to goods of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Faulty goods generally carry a 30-day short-term right to reject, followed by repair or replacement rights and, where legally applicable, price reduction or final rejection. Contact us with your order number and a description of the fault. A manufacturer's warranty is additional to these rights.

Business customers

Business customers do not have the consumer 14-day change-of-mind right. Contact us to agree cancellation or a return of correctly supplied goods before sending them. Faulty or incorrectly supplied business orders will be dealt with under the contract and applicable law. See our Business Terms.
